Station Name
Alpe d'Huez is an internationally renowned ski resort. It was named "The Island in the Sun" because of its exceptional sunshine (300 days a year). The resort is aimed at families and lovers of snow sports. One of the special features of the area is being able to ski for miles without taking a ski lift. The resort also offers an exceptional off-piste area with no fewer than 70 routes. Beginners are not left out since the resort offers more than 30 green slopes.
